warm hosts

cozy room

staying at treetops b&b felt like a hidden gem! the double room was so cozy, and the views from our room were just stunning. it’s conveniently located near the otago peninsula, making it easy to visit places like the royal albatross colony. brenda and wayne were incredibly warm hosts and even offered us tips on wildlife viewing.

Optimal selection for resting at a reasonable price in Portobello. The continental breakfast with local preserves was a delightful start to the day. Be sure to take advantage of the lovely views from the breakfast table.

overwhelming shower pressure

missing breakfast option

The views from our room were breathtaking.

Unfortunately, the shower pressure was overwhelmingly strong, making it difficult to enjoy a relaxing shower. a locking mechanism on the door without needing a key would enhance security during our stay. Lastly, I found the lack of a warm breakfast option disappointing, which would have made the mornings more enjoyable.

I absolutely loved the peaceful unit surrounded by beautiful gardens, but the lack of a cooked breakfast option was a bit disappointing. a great stay!

We loved our stay here! The stunning views from the breakfast table and the incredibly clean unit made our two nights so relaxing. Just a heads-up, the road is steep, but worth it!

Cozy stay with lovely views

We spent 2 nights in this cozy spot. Brenda was super friendly and gave us great tips for wildlife viewing! The breakfast was scrumptious, especially the croissants. Only thing was the road leading down was a bit steep for our tired legs after long walks. totally loved our time here!
